'Anschlusstreffer' is much more specific: a team is behind and scores a goal so that the gap is only one goal. The words can be confused because an 'Anschlusstreffer' is always a 'Tor'. But not every 'Tor' is an 'Anschlusstreffer'. 'Anschlusstreffer' only fits in a specific match situation.
