'diszipliniert' describes more the person or the way of working: someone controls themselves, stays consistent, and follows rules or plans. The words can be confused because a disciplined person often also works neatly. Still, the focus is different. 'ordentlich' asks more: What does it look like, or how was it done? 'diszipliniert' asks more: How does someone behave over a longer period of time?
