'Flutlicht' is a special type of lighting: very strong light for large outdoor areas, for example in a stadium or on a construction site. Learners may confuse the words because floodlighting is also lighting. But not all lighting is floodlighting. For normal light in the kitchen, office, or stairwell, you are more likely to say 'Beleuchtung'; for strong light for sports fields or large outdoor areas, 'Flutlicht' is more precise.
