'die Praxis' and 'das Krankenhaus' can both be places where you get medical help. A 'Praxis' is usually smaller and belongs, for example, to a doctor or dentist. There you often have an appointment and then go home again afterward. A 'Krankenhaus' is a large medical facility where people can also stay for a longer time, for example after an operation or in an emergency. Learners confuse the words because both have to do with doctors. As a practical rule: for a normal doctor's appointment, you usually say 'Praxis'; for serious cases or inpatient treatment, 'Krankenhaus'.
