'die Ankunft' and 'die Landing' can both have to do with reaching a destination. However, 'die Ankunft' is much more general and works for people, trains, buses, airplanes, or ships. 'die Landing' specifically means the landing of an airplane or spacecraft and is a loanword from English. Learners may confuse the words because after a plane lands, it has also arrived. In normal German, people usually say 'die Landung' or 'die Ankunft des Flugzeugs' (the arrival of the plane). 'Landing' sounds more English or technical.
