A term borrowed from English that describes the process of producing or creating something. It is used almost exclusively as part of the term 'Making-of', which refers to documentation about the creation of a film or product.
Auf der Blu-ray gibt es ein ausführliches Making-of, das die Dreharbeiten zeigt.

The word 'Making' is almost never used on its own in German. It is almost always part of the fixed term 'das Making-of', which describes documentation about the creation of a work.
