A Mensa usually belongs to a university, school, or company and offers inexpensive meals there to many people. The words can be confused because you can have lunch in both places. 'Restaurant' is more suitable for leisure time, dates, or special meals. 'Mensa' fits when students, pupils, or employees regularly eat there.
