proud
Having a high sense of self-worth or awareness of one's own dignity. It can also be understood negatively in the sense of arrogant or conceited.

impressive / considerable
Used adverbially to describe an impressive or considerable size, amount, or high price.
Das Haus hat einen stolzen Preis von zwei Millionen Euro.
The house has a considerable price tag of two million euros.
The adjective 'stolz' (proud) is almost always used with the preposition 'auf' and the accusative when naming the reason for the pride.
Ich bin so stolz auf dich!
I'm so proud of you!
In combination with prices, amounts, or numbers, 'stolz' means something like 'beachtlich' (considerable) or 'ganz schön hoch' (pretty high). It then comes directly before the noun.
Das Gebäude hat eine stolze Höhe von 200 Metern.
The building has an impressive height of 200 meters.
'Stolz' (proud) can be positive (self-worth) or negative (arrogant). The negative meaning often becomes clear from the context, for example when someone does not do something good because of it.
Er war zu stolz, um Hilfe anzunehmen.
He was too proud to accept help.
The reason for the pride can also be a whole subordinate clause. You then use 'stolz darauf, dass ...' (proud that ...) or an infinitive construction with 'stolz darauf, ... zu ...' (proud to ...).
Er ist stolz darauf, dass er die Prüfung bestanden hat.
He is proud that he passed the exam.
expensive
Stolz and teuer can both be used with a high price. Teuer states objectively that something costs a lot of money. In this usage, stolz is generally used adverbially and especially emphasizes that the amount is noticeably or considerably high.

Die Reparatur kostet eine stolze Summe, obwohl nur ein kleines Teil kaputt war.
The repair costs a hefty sum, even though only a small part was broken.
Die Reparatur ist teuer, obwohl nur ein kleines Teil kaputt war.
