'die Bibliographie' and 'die Quellenangabe' both belong to texts in which you show where information comes from. The difference is in the size: a bibliography is usually a whole list of books, articles, or other sources at the end of a paper. A source reference is the individual mention of a source, for example directly next to a quotation or image. Learners confuse the words because both have to do with academic writing. In practical terms: many source references together can be part of a bibliography.
