'Bully' is used in ice hockey or field hockey when the referee releases the puck or ball between two players. The words can be confused because both describe a starting action in a game. So the important thing is the sport: soccer has an 'Anstoß' (kickoff), while ice hockey and field hockey have a 'Bully' (face-off).
