'das Cabrio' and 'das Coupé' are both types of cars and can both seem sporty. The important difference is the roof. A Cabrio has a roof that can be opened or removed. A Coupé has a fixed, closed roof and usually two doors with a sporty shape. Learners may confuse the words because both often appear with attractive or sporty cars. If open-top driving is important, you say 'Cabrio'. If you mean the closed, sporty body style, you say 'Coupé'.
