'Cappuccino' is a specific coffee specialty with espresso, milk, and milk foam. So you can see a cappuccino as a kind of coffee, but not every coffee is a cappuccino. The words can be confused when ordering in a café: if you want milk and foam, 'Cappuccino' is more precise.
