'Chapter' is an Anglicism for 'Kapitel' and is rarer in German. It is sometimes used when an English style is intended or when the text itself is strongly connected to English. The words can be confused because a 'Chapter' can also be a section in a book. In normal German, 'Abschnitt' or 'Kapitel' usually sounds more natural than 'Chapter'.
