The most common use of 'dito' (ditto) is as a standalone, short answer. You use it to fully agree with a statement or to return a wish.
Person A: „Ich fand die Präsentation sehr interessant.“ Person B: „Dito!“

'Dito' (ditto) is especially often used as a response to everyday wishes. It is a quick and friendly way to return a wish.

Less commonly, 'dito' (ditto) can also appear within a sentence. It then serves to avoid repetition and to say that the same applies to something or someone.
