Word formation
'Entsperren' consists of 'ent-' and 'sperren' (to block): Here, the prefix indicates that a lock is being removed. The verb is inseparable; 'ent-' remains attached to the verb even in a main clause.
EXAMPLE
Die Bank entsperrt mein Konto nach der Prüfung meiner Daten.
The bank will unlock my account after checking my data.
Specifying the means
You can use 'mit' plus the dative to indicate which means you use to unlock something. Typical expressions are 'mit einer PIN' (with a PIN), 'mit einem Code' (with a code), and 'mit dem Fingerabdruck' (with a fingerprint).

For traffic
For roads and paths, 'für den Verkehr entsperren' (to reopen for traffic) is a typical expression. With 'für' plus the accusative, you can also indicate which group is allowed to use the route again.
