Careful: 'Jump' in German is always a noun ('der Jump'). Do not use it as a verb. The action is expressed with the German verb 'springen' (to jump) or the construction 'einen Jump machen' (to do/make a jump).

In both meanings, 'Jump' is very often combined with the verb 'machen' (to make/do). You can say 'einen Jump machen' (to do/make a jump) in sports, or a stock can 'einen Jump machen' (make a jump) in business.
Der Skateboarder machte einen riskanten Jump über die Treppe.
The skateboarder did a risky jump over the stairs.
In the meaning 'Sprung' (jump), 'Jump' is used mainly in youth language and in the jargon of sports such as snowboarding, skateboarding, or parkour.
Für diesen Jump auf dem Snowboard braucht man viel Übung.

'der Anstieg' and 'der Jump' can both mean that a value becomes higher. 'Der Anstieg' is the normal German word and fits many situations, for example with prices, temperatures, or numbers. 'Der Jump' is an Anglicism and sounds much more specific. In business, data, or technology, it often means a sudden, sharp jump upward. The words can be confused because both describe an increase. For neutral texts, 'Anstieg' is usually more natural; 'Jump' fits better when you want to emphasize the rapid, jump-like nature of the change.
Nach der Werbung gab es bei den Online-Bestellungen einen deutlichen Jump.
