Nachgang vs Anschluss

connection

Der Anschluss follows directly in time after an event or arrival and often refers to the connection you catch immediately afterward. Der Nachgang also comes afterward, but usually refers to a later action or follow-up, often in a formal context. Use „im Anschluss an“ for the direct sequence and „im Nachgang“ for the subsequent measure.
