'zurück' and 'next' are opposites especially in apps, websites, or forms. 'zurück' leads to the previous step or back to the starting point. 'next' is an English word and on such buttons means 'weiter' (continue) or 'nächster Schritt' (next step). They can be confused because both often appear as short words on buttons. But the direction is different: 'zurück' goes backward, while 'next' goes forward to the next part.
