A public event or parade to celebrate and demonstrate for the pride, culture, and rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people (LGBTQ+).

'der Umzug' and 'die Pride' can both mean a public parade or march through streets. 'Umzug' is the more general word and fits many festive occasions, for example Carnival or a town festival. 'Pride' is much more specific: it means an event or parade where LGBTQ+ people celebrate and become visible in support of their rights. Learners may confuse the words because a Pride often also looks like a festive parade. Even so, 'Pride' always says something about the occasion and the theme of the event.
