In the meaning 'hochwertig' (high-quality), 'qualitativ' is very often combined with adjectives like 'hochwertig' (high-quality), 'gut' (good), or 'einwandfrei' (flawless) to emphasize the high quality. The combination 'qualitativ hochwertig' (high-quality) is especially common.

'qualitativ' and 'hochwertig' can both mean that something has good quality. In this sense, they are very similar. However, 'hochwertig' is clearer when you want to say: the product, material, or service is especially good. 'qualitativ' can also be meant neutrally and refer only to the type or nature of something, not to the quantity. That is why the words can be confused: 'qualitativ hochwertig' is possible, but 'qualitativ' alone does not always automatically mean 'good'. If you clearly mean good quality, 'hochwertig' is often more natural.
