A very common combination is 'während der Schwangerschaft' (during pregnancy). The preposition 'während' requires the genitive, although in spoken language it is sometimes also formed with the dative.

But you do not say 'sie hat schwanger'; you say 'sie ist schwanger'. When talking about the time period, the course of it, or medical topics, 'Schwangerschaft' is more natural.
