Two past-tense forms
The verb 'senden' (to send/broadcast) has two past-tense forms: a regular one ('sendete', 'hat gesendet') and an irregular one ('sandte', 'hat gesandt'). Which form you use depends on the meaning.

The regular form 'gesendet' is almost always used for broadcasting on television or radio. The irregular form 'gesandt' is used when you send something by mail or, in formal language, send a person.
