Pay attention to the prepositions and the case: Movement toward a place is expressed with 'in' + accusative ('ins Stadion' — into/to the stadium). Being at a place is described with 'in' + dative ('im Stadion' — in/at the stadium).

Stadion and Arena are large places for sports or concerts. A Stadion is usually open and strongly associated with sports facilities, while an Arena is often enclosed and functions as a multipurpose venue. Stadion is the right term for an open sports facility; Arena is more suitable for an enclosed event venue.
