'Stattgeben' (to grant) is a separable verb. The prefix 'statt' comes at the end of the main clause. In subordinate clauses and in the infinitive with 'zu', the verb stays together.

Einem Antrag entsprechen means formally fulfilling the request expressed in it. Einer Antrag, einer Klage oder einem Widerspruch stattgeben, by contrast, explicitly refers to an official decision in favor of that request and is used mainly in legal and administrative language.
Das Gericht gibt der Klage auf Zahlung des offenen Betrags statt.
