'die Lösung' and 'die Suspendierung' can both have to do with substances in a liquid in chemistry and physics. The important difference is: in a solution, a substance is dissolved in the solvent. The liquid appears uniform. In a suspension, solid particles float in the liquid without really dissolving. These words can be confusing because both can look like a liquid with a substance in it. In practical terms: if the substance is dissolved, you say 'Lösung'; if small solid particles are only dispersed, you say 'Suspendierung'.
