Ending -isch
The ending '-isch' is often used in German to form an adjective from a noun, often a country or region. This is how 'die Türkei' (Turkey) becomes the adjective 'türkisch' (Turkish).
EXAMPLE
Die italienische Küche ist weltweit bekannt.
Italian cuisine is known worldwide.
Adjective vs. language
Pay attention to capitalization. The adjective 'türkisch' (Turkish) is written in lowercase. But if you mean the language as a noun, you capitalize it: 'das Türkisch' (Turkish).
EXAMPLE
Mein Nachbar hat mir ein türkisches Rezept erklärt.
My neighbor explained a Turkish recipe to me.

Kurdish
