'still' and 'unbemerkt' can both describe something happening without attracting attention from others. 'unbemerkt' clearly says that no one perceives it. So it is about the effect on others. 'still' is more about the way something happens: quietly, calmly, or without fuss. An action can happen still, even if someone might still see it. If you want to emphasize that no one notices something, 'unbemerkt' is more precise. If you mean the quiet, unobtrusive manner, 'still' fits better.
