Von der Westseite des Berges hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.

Usage tips
Compound word
The word is clearly made up of 'West' (west) and 'Seite' (side). The part '-seite' is also combined with the other cardinal directions to describe a location or orientation.
EXAMPLE
Die Südseite des Hauses bekommt den ganzen Tag Sonne.
The south side of the house gets sun all day.
Correct preposition
To describe a location, you use 'auf der Westseite' (on the west side) with the dative. The preposition 'an' is also used, often to describe direct attachment to a vertical surface.
EXAMPLE
Auf der Westseite der Insel gibt es einen langen Sandstrand.
On the west side of the island, there is a long sandy beach.
Typical use
'Westseite' (west side) is often used to describe the location of geographic objects or buildings. Typical combinations are 'die Westseite des Berges' (the west side of the mountain), 'eines Hauses' (of a house), or 'einer Insel' (of an island).
EXAMPLE
Die Westseite des Gebäudes ist komplett verglast.
The west side of the building is completely glass-fronted.

Westseite vs Westküste
west coast
'Westküste' and 'Westseite' both describe a location in the west. However, 'Westküste' is only used when it really refers to a coast, that is, land by the sea. It can also specifically mean the West Coast of the USA. 'Westseite' is more general and fits buildings, mountains, cities, or areas. The words can be confused because both begin with 'West-'. The simple difference is: with the sea, you often say 'Westküste'; without the sea, usually 'Westseite'.
Westseite
Auf der Westseite des Hauses scheint am Abend lange die Sonne.
On the west side of the house, the sun shines for a long time in the evening.
Westküste
Im Sommer fahren wir an die Westküste, weil dort viele schöne Strände liegen.
In summer, we travel to the west coast because there are many beautiful beaches there.
