It refers to the whole route or the whole stay in another place and does not say what means of transport you use. 'Zugfahrt' refers specifically to the part you travel by train. So a Zugfahrt can be part of a Reise. The words are easy to mix up when you travel by train. If you are talking about the vacation or the whole journey, 'Reise' fits. If you are talking about the ride on the train, 'Zugfahrt' is more precise.
