Aktionär vs Investor

investor

An Investor and an Aktionär can both put money into a company. Investor describes a profit-oriented investment of capital and does not require stock ownership; Aktionär refers only to someone who owns shares in a stock corporation. When you are talking about ownership status, Aktionär is therefore more precise.
