The attitude of accepting, approving of, or recognizing something or someone as valid. It describes the voluntary acceptance of a situation, idea, person, or rule.

Zustimmung and Akzeptanz both show a positive reaction to an idea or rule. Zustimmung usually means explicitly supporting or approving something. Akzeptanz, on the other hand, can also mean accepting something even though you do not necessarily like it.
