'Auswahl' and 'Anthologie' can both have to do with selected texts. 'Auswahl' is the general word: it can mean any set of things you can choose from, or the act of choosing itself. An 'Anthologie' is much more specific: it is a book with selected literary texts, for example poems or short stories. The words can be confused because an anthology contains a selection. But 'Anthologie' is used only for this particular type of text collection.
