'die Zeit' and 'die Freizeit' can both refer to free moments. 'Zeit haben' means simply that you are not busy at the moment or are able to do something. There is a risk of confusion because both words have to do with being freely available. For hobbies and relaxation, 'Freizeit' is a better fit; for a specific opportunity, 'Zeit haben' is better.
