'Geocaching' and 'Schatzsuche' both have to do with searching for something hidden. 'Geocaching' is a specific modern leisure activity: you search outdoors with GPS or a smartphone for a hidden container. 'Schatzsuche' is more general. It can be a children's game, a search for a real treasure, or a playful search at a party. The words can be confused because geocaching feels like a modern treasure hunt. More precisely, though: every 'Geocaching' is a kind of 'Schatzsuche', but not every 'Schatzsuche' is 'Geocaching'.
