'Gutgehen' (to go well) consists of 'gut' (well) and 'gehen' (to go) and is separable. In main clauses, 'gut' is separated and placed at the end with simple verb forms; in subordinate clauses, 'gutgehen' stays together. With the infinitive with 'zu', 'zu' comes between the two parts.

'Noch einmal gutgehen' (to turn out all right after all) is often used when a situation nearly ends badly. With 'nicht immer' (not always) or 'nicht ewig' (not forever), it often becomes a warning against continuing risky behavior.
Du fährst viel zu schnell; das kann nicht immer gutgehen.
You're driving much too fast; this can't go well forever.
The fixed expression is 'es sich gutgehen lassen' (to treat oneself): 'es' is part of the expression, and the reflexive pronoun is used in the dative. Depending on the person, you use 'mir' (myself), 'dir' (yourself), or 'sich' (oneself), for example; 'gutgehen' remains an infinitive after 'lassen'.
Heute lasse ich es mir mit einem guten Essen und einem heißen Bad gutgehen.
Today I'm treating myself to a good meal and a hot bath.
