'intern' and 'integriert' can both express that something belongs to a larger context. However, the focus is different. 'intern' means: within a company, group, or organization, and usually not public. 'integriert' means: firmly incorporated into a group, society, a device, or a system. The words can be confused because both often appear in work or system contexts. An 'interne Lösung' (internal solution) stays within the company; an 'integrierte Lösung' (integrated solution) is a fixed part of a larger system.
