A small wheeled carriage used to push a baby or small child while they are lying down or sitting.
Die jungen Eltern gingen mit dem Kinderwagen im Park spazieren.

This word is a clear example of a compound noun: it consists of 'Kinder' (children, plural of 'Kind') and 'Wagen' (carriage/cart). So it is literally a carriage for children.
Für das neugeborene Baby brauchen wir noch einen Kinderwagen.
We still need a stroller for the newborn baby.
In connection with a stroller, the verb 'schieben' (to push) is almost always used. When you put a child into it lying down or sitting, you use the verbs 'legen' (to lay) or 'setzen' (to sit/place).
Die Mutter schiebt den Kinderwagen durch den Park.
The mother pushes the stroller through the park.
To express movement, use 'in den Kinderwagen' with the accusative. To describe a location, use 'im Kinderwagen' with the dative.
Das Kind will nicht in den Kinderwagen gesetzt werden.
The child does not want to be put into the stroller.

'Kinderwagen' and 'Sportwagen' both contain the word 'Wagen' and refer to something with wheels. In meaning, however, they are very different. A 'Kinderwagen' is for a baby or small child and is pushed by a person. A 'Sportwagen' is a car that drives fast and sportily. Learners may confuse the words because of their similar form. So pay attention to the first part of the word: 'Kinder-' belongs to a baby or child, while 'Sport-' here belongs to a fast car.
