Arab / Arabian
'Araber' and 'Nordafrikaner' can overlap because many people in North Africa speak Arabic or have Arab descent. Even so, the words do not mean the same thing. 'Nordafrikaner' only says that a man comes from North Africa or lives there, for example from Morocco, Algeria, or Tunisia. 'Araber' refers to Arab descent, an Arab country, or Arabic as a native language. A North African man can be Arab, but he does not have to be. If the region is important, 'Nordafrikaner' fits better; if language or Arab descent is meant, 'Araber' fits better.
