'skandinavisch' is broader and normally refers to Denmark, Norway, and Sweden; sometimes Finland and Iceland are included as well. Learners may confuse the words when talking about furniture, design, travel, or languages. If you only mean Sweden, use 'schwedisch'. If you mean the whole region, use 'skandinavisch'.
