'die Politik' and 'die Strategie' can both have to do with planned decisions and goals. 'Politik' is broader and means the actions and general line of a government, party, company, or group. 'Strategie' means more a precise plan for how you want to achieve a goal in the long term. The words can overlap because a policy often contains a strategy. If you mean the whole set of actions or the general line, 'Politik' fits better. If you are emphasizing the plan for reaching the goal, 'Strategie' is more precise.
