Vorraum vs Foyer

foyer

Foyer and Vorraum are both located in the entrance area of a building. Foyer is used especially for large public buildings and often also refers to the area where people wait or spend time, whereas Vorraum more generally means a smaller room in front of another room. In a theater, Foyer is usually the more appropriate term.
