Word composition
'Ansicht' consists of 'an' and 'Sicht' (view/sight). It describes what you see when you look at something. This can literally be an image, or in a figurative sense a personal opinion.
EXAMPLE
Von diesem Hügel hat man eine wunderbare Ansicht der ganzen Stadt.
From this hill, you have a wonderful view of the whole city.
Fixed expression with 'nach'
The expression 'meiner Ansicht nach' (in my opinion) is very common for expressing your own opinion. It is important that the verb in the sentence comes directly after this expression in position 2.
EXAMPLE
Meiner Ansicht nach ist das die beste Lösung für das Problem.
In my opinion, that is the best solution to the problem.
Typical verbs
When 'Ansicht' (opinion/view) means an opinion, it is often combined with certain verbs. Typical expressions are: 'eine Ansicht haben' (to have an opinion), 'eine Ansicht vertreten' (to hold/advocate a view), or 'seine Ansicht ändern' (to change one's opinion).

'das Bild' and 'die Ansicht' can both refer to something visible. 'Bild' is the general word for a photo, a drawing, or a painting.
