'die Leistung' and 'die Arbeitsleistung' can both say how well or how much someone has accomplished. 'Leistung' is more general and can refer to school, sports, technology, or work. 'Arbeitsleistung' is narrower: it is explicitly about work, that is, the quantity and quality of the work done by a person or machine. In legal or professional texts, 'Arbeitsleistung' can also mean the work that someone is required to perform under a contract. The words can be confused because 'Arbeitsleistung' is a type of 'Leistung'. When the work context is important, 'Arbeitsleistung' is more precise.
