The effectiveness of the measures is still being reviewed.

Effektivität vs Wirkung
effect / impact
'die Wirkung' and 'die Effektivität' both have to do with a result. 'Wirkung' generally means what something causes or changes. 'Effektivität' more specifically means how well a measure achieves a particular goal. That is why you talk about the 'Wirkung' of a medication, a film, or a decision, but the 'Effektivität' of a method, a plan, or a measure. Learners may confuse the words because both ask about the result. 'Wirkung' is the effect; 'Effektivität' is success with regard to a goal.
Effektivität
Nach einem Monat prüfte das Team die Effektivität des neuen Arbeitsplans.
After a month, the team reviewed the effectiveness of the new work plan.
Wirkung
Nach dem Essen merkt ihr die Wirkung des starken Kaffees schnell.
After eating, you quickly notice the effect of the strong coffee.
