'Kommission' and 'Jury' both refer to a group of people that has a task and can judge or decide something. 'Jury' is especially used for competitions, awards, or castings: it evaluates entries and chooses a winner. 'Kommission' sounds more official and is often used for investigations, reviews, or political and specialist tasks. Learners may confuse the words because both groups consist of several people. If it is about a competition, 'Jury' is more natural. If it is about an official task or investigation, 'Kommission' fits better.
