Fixed construction
In the meaning of “not wanting to put up with something anymore,” “leid” (fed up) usually appears in the fixed expression “etwas leid sein” (to be fed up with something). It is often followed by an infinitive with “zu” or a subordinate clause with “dass”; “es” refers to the thing one no longer wants to put up with.
EXAMPLE
