'Hack' is the short form of 'Hackfleisch' (ground meat / minced meat) and can be used raw or cooked, for example for Bolognese or meatballs. 'Mett' is more specific: it is seasoned raw minced pork and is often eaten on bread. The words can be confused because 'Mett' is a type of 'Hack'. But not every 'Hack' is 'Mett'. If you mean chopped or ground meat in general, 'Hack' fits. If you mean the raw spread eaten on bread, 'Mett' is more precise.
