The most important information is right on the homepage.

Startseite vs Website
website
'die Website' and 'die Startseite' are closely related, but they refer to different things. A 'Website' is the whole online presence with all its pages and content. The 'Startseite' is only the first page of this website, which you usually see first when you open it. Learners may confuse the words because the homepage often seems like the most important page. Remember: the homepage is part of the website, not the whole website.
Startseite
Auf der Startseite steht ein kurzer Hinweis zur Veranstaltung.
There is a short notice about the event on the homepage.
Website
Mein Vater besucht oft die Website der Bahn, wenn er eine Reise plant.
My father often visits the railway company's website when he is planning a trip.
