The adjective 'tüte' (wasted/high) is used almost exclusively predicatively, that is, after verbs like 'sein' (to be) or 'werden' (to become). Attributive use before a noun, e.g. 'ein tüter Gast', is uncommon and sounds unnatural.

This word is purely colloquial and should only be used in very informal situations with friends or acquaintances. In formal or professional contexts, it is inappropriate.
