To express what someone is not impressed by, the preposition 'von' is used with the dative.

The experienced mountaineer appeared unimpressed by the bad weather.
Typical verbs
'Unbeeindruckt' (unimpressed) is very often combined with verbs like 'bleiben' (to remain), 'wirken' (to seem), 'scheinen' (to appear), or 'sich zeigen' (to show oneself / appear) to describe a state or impression.

unbeeindruckt vs ruhig
quiet / calm
'ruhig' and 'unbeeindruckt' can both describe someone who does not seem nervous or excited. 'ruhig' is more general: a person can be calm because they are relaxed or because they control their emotions well. 'unbeeindruckt' is used especially when something could actually cause a reaction, but the person does not show one. So it emphasizes: something happens, but the person does not let it bother them.
unbeeindruckt
Meine Mutter bleibt vom schlechten Wetter unbeeindruckt und geht trotzdem spazieren.
My mother is unimpressed by the bad weather and goes for a walk anyway.
ruhig
Am Bahnhof bleiben wir ruhig, obwohl der Zug Verspätung hat.
At the train station, we stay calm even though the train is delayed.
